Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the ZED TRADE HUB platform, website, application, directory, marketplace, or any related services.
By accessing or using ZED TRADE HUB, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Introduction
ZED TRADE HUB is an online marketplace and business directory platform that enables businesses, professionals, vendors, merchants, service providers, and entrepreneurs to create profiles, advertise products and services, and connect directly with potential customers.
ZED TRADE HUB operates primarily as a digital advertising, listing, networking, and connection platform.
ZED TRADE HUB is not a party to transactions, negotiations, agreements, payments, contracts, deliveries, or engagements entered into between users of the platform.
2. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:
- "Platform" means the ZED TRADE HUB website, application, marketplace, directory, and related services.
- "User" means any individual, business, company, merchant, professional, customer, visitor, advertiser, or entity accessing or using the Platform.
- "Vendor" means any business, seller, merchant, professional, service provider, or advertiser using the Platform to display products or services.
- "Customer" means any person browsing, contacting, engaging, or transacting with a Vendor through or after discovering them on the Platform.
- "Content" includes text, images, videos, graphics, advertisements, logos, descriptions, reviews, listings, contact information, and any other material uploaded onto the Platform.
3. Nature of the Platform
3.1. ZED TRADE HUB operates strictly as a marketplace listing and connection platform.
3.2 The Platform merely enables Vendors and Customers to discover and contact one another.
3.3 Once a Customer contacts a Vendor, all communications, negotiations, payments, deliveries, transactions, engagements, contracts, warranties, liabilities, disputes, and obligations shall exist solely between the Vendor and the Customer.
3.4 ZED TRADE HUB does not:
- manufacture, own, inspect, verify, endorse, certify, guarantee, or supply products or services listed on the Platform;
- participate in negotiations between users;
- process or hold transaction funds unless expressly stated otherwise;
- supervise transactions between users;
- guarantee the quality, legality, safety, authenticity, availability, or delivery of products or services;
- act as agent, partner, employer, representative, or insurer of any Vendor or Customer.
3.5 Users acknowledge and agree that they use the Platform entirely at their own risk.
4. Membership and Business Listings
4.1 Vendors may subscribe for membership packages in order to create:
- business profiles;
- online storefronts;
- advertisements;
- product listings;
- service listings;
- promotional content;
- contact pages.
4.2 Membership fees are payable in accordance with the package selected by the Vendor.
4.3 Unless otherwise stated, membership fees are non-refundable.
4.4 ZED TRADE HUB reserves the right to modify membership packages, pricing, features, visibility, advertising structures, or subscription models at any time.
4.5 Failure to pay applicable subscription fees may result in suspension or removal of listings or accounts.
5. User Eligibility
5.1 Users must be at least 18 years old or possess legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
5.2 By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- all information provided is accurate;
- you have authority to operate the business or profile you create;
- your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. User Accounts
6.1 Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and account information.
6.2 Users are fully responsible for all activities occurring under their accounts.
6.3 ZED TRADE HUB reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at its sole discretion.
7. Prohibited Activities
Users shall not use the Platform to:
- engage in unlawful activity;
- post false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive information;
- impersonate another person or business;
- upload harmful software, malware, or viruses;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- advertise illegal goods or services;
- engage in scams, fraud, or dishonest conduct;
- post offensive, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content;
- misuse the Platform in any manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.
8. Right to Remove Content or Users
8.1 ZED TRADE HUB reserves the unrestricted right to:
- remove listings;
- restrict visibility;
- suspend accounts;
- permanently ban users;
- delete content;
- reject applications or listings,
where such conduct is deemed inconsistent with the Platform's values, policies, operational standards, commercial objectives, safety standards, or applicable law.
8.2 ZED TRADE HUB shall not be obligated to provide reasons for such decisions.
9. No Responsibility for Transactions
9.1 ZED TRADE HUB shall not be responsible or liable for:
- failed transactions;
- fraud;
- scams;
- defective products;
- non-delivery;
- delays;
- poor workmanship;
- misrepresentation;
- breach of contract;
- payment disputes;
- losses arising from dealings between users.
9.2 Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any transaction or engagement.
9.3 Users acknowledge that any engagement entered into after contact is made through the Platform is entirely independent of ZED TRADE HUB.
10. Disclaimers
10.1. The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
10.2 ZED TRADE HUB makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees regarding:
- uptime or uninterrupted access;
- accuracy of listings;
- suitability of products or services;
- reliability of Vendors or Customers;
- business outcomes;
- sales performance;
- customer acquisition;
- profitability.
10.3 We do not guarantee that the Platform will be free from errors, interruptions, viruses, or technical issues.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZED TRADE HUB, its owners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for any:
- indirect loss;
- consequential loss;
- loss of profits;
- reputational damage;
- business interruption;
- data loss;
- personal injury;
- property damage;
- economic loss,
arising from:
- use of the Platform;
- inability to use the Platform;
- interactions between users;
- reliance on listings or advertisements;
- unauthorized access;
- third-party conduct.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 All Platform branding, logos, systems, layouts, graphics, software, and content belonging to ZED TRADE HUB remain the intellectual property of ZED TRADE HUB unless otherwise stated.
12.2 Users retain ownership of content uploaded by them but grant ZED TRADE HUB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, market, and promote such content in connection with the Platform.
13. Privacy
13.1 Users acknowledge that certain personal and business information may be collected, processed, and displayed as part of the operation of the Platform.
13.2 Use of the Platform is also subject to the ZED TRADE HUB Privacy Policy.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, social media platforms, or external services.
ZED TRADE HUB does not control or assume responsibility for any third-party services or websites.
15. Termination
15.1 We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Platform at any time without prior notice.
15.2 Users may discontinue use of the Platform at any time.
15.3 Any provisions intended to survive termination shall remain in effect after termination.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
17. Amendments
ZED TRADE HUB reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Platform after such amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering on, subscribing to, advertising on, or using ZED TRADE HUB, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
